Automatically Record Microsoft Teams Meetings

Meetings can be set to record automatically when they start. Normally, the meeting organizer makes this choice when they create the meeting. When creating recurring meetings in a series, the organizer can choose to set record automatically for each occurrence or the series.

Set up to Automatically Record Microsoft Teams Meetings in a Series

Applies to Microsoft Teams on Windows 10 or 11, Mac OSX and Teams for Web
To enable record automatically in Teams,

  • Go to Calendar and select a meeting.
  • Select the Edit button.
  • Then, select the Edit Series option.

 From the meetings Details section, select Meeting options.

  • Toggle record automatically to Yes.
  • Select Save button
